Substance abuse usually begins as a way to separate from our pain, but prolonged use separates us from ourselves and our spiritual connection.

Addiction is not limited to drugs or alcohol, and is a topic that has likely touched all our lives. Join Kirtan in this specialized training exploring addiction and the path of recovery. Over two weekends, you will learn practical yogic tools and life skills to help with early recovery and relapse prevention. Dive deep into the scene of addiction, practice and discuss ideas for creating self-regulation and resilience, learn creative yoga sequencing for classes held specifically in recovery centers and hospitals, and gain an understanding of trauma-informed teaching.
This course is designed for those looking for a deeper understanding and ways to assist others on their personal journeys to wholeness.
